Cookie Policy

    Last updated: March 2026

This policy explains how IllimitTV uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our services.

    1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They help the site work, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the service.

    2. How we use cookies

We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience, remember your settings, serve personalized ads or content where applicable, and analyze traffic so we can improve our product.

    3. Types of cookies

We may use essential cookies (required for security and core features), functional cookies (preferences and language), analytics cookies (usage statistics), and, where you consent, advertising or personalization cookies.

    4. Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may limit certain features. When you click "Accept All" on our banner, you consent to non-essential cookies as described here; you can clear site data or change browser settings at any time. We store that choice in browser storage and a first-party cookie named illimitv_cookie_consent so we remember it when you come back.

    5. Third parties

Some cookies may be set by trusted partners (e.g. analytics or payment providers). Their use is governed by their own policies where relevant.

    6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy and will post changes on this page with an updated date.

    7. Cookies and storage we set

illimitv_cookie_consent — remembers your banner choice (accepted or essential-only); up to 12 months; first-party. illimitv-cookie-consent (localStorage) — duplicate of your choice for faster reads. Session / auth tokens — set by Supabase or our host when you log in; required for accounts and checkout; duration per provider defaults. Sidebar or UI preferences — small first-party cookies/localStorage where our UI needs to remember layout (e.g. admin sidebar).

    8. Your choices on this site

Accept All — optional analytics/personalization cookies may run where we add them in future. Essential only — we still set the consent cookie/storage so the banner stays closed, but you are not opting in to non-essential cookies. Cookie Policy — full detail and how to change your mind. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time.

    9. Similar technologies

We may use local storage, session storage, or pixels in line with this policy. Payment pages rely on Stripe; see Stripe’s privacy materials for their cookies on checkout.

    10. Contact

Questions about cookies: use our Contact page or the email shown in your account area.

    11. Purposes and legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: (1) your consent when you choose “Accept all” for non-essential cookies and similar storage; (2) legitimate interests for strictly necessary cookies, security, fraud prevention, and service reliability, balanced against your rights; (3) performance of a contract where storage is strictly necessary for a service you request (for example, completing checkout with our payment provider).

    12. Withdrawing consent and browser controls

You can withdraw or change consent for non-essential cookies at any time by reopening our banner (see below) or by deleting cookies and site data for this website in your browser. Strictly necessary cookies may be set again if they are required for the site to function.

    • Chrome / Chromium: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
    • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
    • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data

    13. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no single global standard for how sites must respond. We primarily rely on your explicit choice in our cookie banner rather than on the DNT header alone.

    14. Cookie and storage inventory (summary)

This summary complements the details in sections 7–9. Names or lifetimes may vary slightly depending on hosting or app updates.

    • illimitv_cookie_consent — banner choice (accepted or essential-only); up to 12 months; first-party; essential for remembering your decision
    • illimitv-cookie-consent (localStorage) — same choice for faster reads; first-party; essential
    • Supabase session / auth storage — when you log in; required for account and checkout; duration per Supabase defaults; essential
    • Stripe (checkout) — fraud prevention and payment session cookies on Stripe’s domains; third party; see Stripe’s cookie and privacy notices

    15. Scope & controller

This Cookie Policy applies when you use the IllimitTV website and our customer-facing web application (including pricing, checkout when logged in, FAQ, contact, and account areas). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes wider processing of personal data and how to exercise your rights.

    16. First-party technologies (reference table)

Typical first-party cookies and storage we use. Exact names and lifetimes may vary slightly after updates; use your browser’s cookies and site data tools to inspect what is stored on your device.

Reference only — not every technical sub-request or CDN helper may be listed.

    17. Third-party technologies you may encounter

Depending on the page and features in use, you may interact with:

    • Stripe — when Stripe Checkout opens, cookies and similar technologies on Stripe-controlled domains support payment processing and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s privacy policy and cookie information.
    • Supabase — hosts authentication and application data; session behaviour follows Supabase configuration and your browser.
    • Future analytics or advertising tools — non-essential tags will only run after you choose “Accept all”, and we will update this policy to name new providers when they are introduced.

    18. Your rights (EEA, UK, and similar laws)

Where applicable data protection law grants you rights, you may, subject to conditions in that law:

    • Request access to personal data we hold about you
    • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
    • Request erasure, restriction of processing, or data portability where the legal tests are met
    • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
    • Object to processing based on legitimate interests where you have that right
    • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (for example, a data protection authority in the EU or UK).

    19. Children

Our service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly use cookies to profile children for marketing. If you believe a child has used our service in a way that raises concerns, please contact us through the Contact page.

    20. Questions & how this fits with other policies

Cookies are one part of how we run this site. For categories of personal data, recipients, international transfers, and retention beyond cookies and storage keys, read our Privacy Policy. For refunds after purchase, see our Refund Policy. For general legal terms, see our Terms of Service.
